Here’s how to remove it correctly without irritating your eyes. Soak a cotton pad with eye makeup remover and gently press it down onto the eye for a few seconds. Use a soft cotton pad as the skin around your eyes is very sensitive. If you don’t have eye makeup remover, micellar water can also be used but check if it’s okay to use on the eyes first. Gently wipe the cotton pad downward and away to remove the mascara. Allowing the product to sit on the lashes for a few seconds gives it more time to properly dissolve the mascara. Take a q-tip and soak it with eye makeup remover and gently clean any remaining mascara left between your lashes. If you still have some mascara around your eyes NEVER try to scrub it away.
