Homemade granola tastes better than store-bought granola and it is also healthier and cheaper. To make your own granola you will need the following ingredients. A half-cup of olive oil, a three-quarter cup of pure maple syrup, 2 tablespoons of turbinado sugar and 1 teaspoon of salt. 3 cups of oats, 1 cup of coconut flakes, a three-quarter cup of sunflower seeds and a three-quarter cup of pumpkin seeds. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper and preheat the oven to 300°F. Combine all of the ingredients in a large bowl and stir until evenly coated. Spread the mixture onto the baking sheet and leave in the oven for 45-55 minutes, until the granola is golden brown and dry. Don’t forget to stir the granola every 15 minutes while baking.
